Now I no longer need to worry about damaging my gums or tooth surfaces. I use it with out applying considerably pressure, and I just move it about gently. I'm a compulsive brusher and have an old groove in one tooth, in the gumline. To me, it is worth it just to protect my teeth and gums from further wear. Also, it feels truly good--a nice oral massage. I can tell my mouth is finding considerably cleaner. A sister advised this 1 to me, simply because it has produced her periodontal pockets smaller and healthier more than time.
